Then the whole cycle starts again, cold air warm air cold air warm air. The warm air is like fan air on a hot day. Is that normal? is that how portable air cons are meant to work? or is it a mulfunction??It's been like that the whole time I've had it.

Is it possible to make a hot water radiator heating system into an air conditioner?
I have an old house with hot water heating system a closed loop of water is heated by the furnace through radiators by a circulating pump. Would it be possible to add " air conditioning" by simply adding a water chiller onto the closed loop? The only challenge I can think of is to be sure to have multiple dehumidifiers in the house to keep condensation from building up on the radiators. Maybe also install some sort of custom tray under the radiators to prevent water from dripping onto the floor?I have never heard of anyone doing this, do any of the HVAC gurus out there know better than me? Is this possible? Are there potential problems that I'm not thinking of?I do pay for water, just opening the water tap through the radiators won't work. Good idea though.I'm trying to come up with creative ideas so that I don't have to run air ducts. Hence the addition of a water chiller to the closed loop and the use of dehumidifiers.

How do I freshen up a car's air conditioner?
I inherited my father's 1998 Grand Marquis. He smoked a pipe, so the car had a stuffy tobacco smell to it. I sprayed all the surfaces upholstery, ceiling and rugs with Febreze, which helped a lot. I then sprayed all the air conditioner outlets with Febreze, which also helped. I still occasionally get a stuffy smell from the car's air conditioner, however, especially when I change the fan setting from low to high, or change settings like from defrost to cooling . Can people recommend what else I can do to get rid of the tobacco smell from the air conditioner?

Air Conditioner Disconnect?
I would like to replace my outdoor air conditioner disconnect. Is this a job that I need an electrician for, or is it safe easy enough for a homeowner to do? If so, does anyone know of a good guide online for doing it?
